I have CF and first heard about Nac via the study being conducted at Stanford University, which showed very promising results toward controlling the inflammatory response so common in Cystic Fibrosis. At the time, my lung function was too low to qualify to participate in the study, but the research coordinator directed me to your website and I’ve been using it off and on ever since. I can definitely feel a difference when I’m using it. The only reason I’ve been sporadic with it is that I have to pay for it out of pocket and since I am unable to work, this sometimes presents an economic hardship for my husband (who also has CF) and me.
